Exmoor Bed and Breakfast accommodation

Knowle Manor is the home of the Lamacraft family. The manor house with its spacious and comfortable facilities accomodates all Knowle guests. The bedrooms are mainly ensuite and range from family rooms to single, double and twins. Relax in front of open hearth fires in the lounge or bar lounge with its pool table and piano. The games room has a table tennis table pool table and a dart board. Next to the manor you will find our indoor heated swimming pool open during the season. Full board is provided in our large dining dining room, meals are home cooked and special diets are catered for. We do weekly and short break riding holidays. We have weekly and daily tariffs. The traditional courtyard stabling is adjacent to the manor and is surrounded by 120 acres of paddocks which includes a cross-country course and polo practice area. The dressage size indoor riding school is available for lessons. Riding is the main activity and from Knowle you ride directly onto the vast expanse of Exmoor, with its wonderful countryside mix of moorland, forestry and coastal scenery. Riders are assessed according to ability and sorted into small groups. We are na A.B.R.S. and B.H.S. approved establishment and hold a Riding Establishment Licence. Knowle offers the opportunity to try other activities if interest is shown. Swimming, archery, croquet, fly fishing for trout in our well stocked lake or our river, instruction can be organised. There five golf courses within a 25 mile radius of Knowle. Walking is also very popular with 1,100km oof rights of way. There are evening and local activities to join.
