Burnells Gardens is a small family run farm situated in the beautiful Aville Valley between the historic village of Dunster and the traditional Exmoor village of Timberscombe. A farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation + dinner, lunches, packed lunches as required. High standard of farmhouse aga cookery, full english or continental style breakfast offered; special diets can be catered for. Smoking permitted in the house and grounds; full use of tv lounge, mature gardens, barbecue etc. Also full use of farm’s fields for walking by the river, exercising dogs etc. Bring your horse on holiday with you – superb riding close at hand, moorland, forest, villages, bridleways etc. Virtually no roadwork required. Stabling and grazing available – light airy stabling, well-fenced fields all with automatic waterers and 24 hour supervision. Stunning location close to the village of Dunster in the scenic Aville Valley. Seating areas by the river – see if you can catch a glimpse of the resident otters and kingfishers. Trout fishing available. Very quiet location yet local pubs and restaurants within easy access. Warm friendly welcome awaits. Prices £20 per person per night for 2 sharing a double room; £25 per person per night for single occupancy. One king size room with tv, radio/cd player, very comfortable bed and furnished to high standard. One double room with radio/cd and hand washbasin. Both rooms on same landing as bathroom with corner bath and shower Dogs welcome – kennelling can be provided or dogs can share owners’ room.
