Trimstone Manor Self-Catering Cottages were converted from what was originally a Mill and its ancillary buildings. The Cottages are set around a sheltered courtyard adjoining Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel.

Following recent refurbishment, the Cottages are fully furnished to a good standard and offer a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit most needs. We provide everything you need for your self-catering holiday except towels. Pets are welcome in the Cottages by prior arrangement.

The Cottages and Hotel are set in 44 acres of landscaped gardens and beautiful North Devon countryside and provide the perfect location for those who want a peaceful and relaxing break. But with easy access to the A361 Trimstone is also perfect for those who want to explore North Devon. The fine sandy beaches and rolling surf of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton are a short drive away as are the secluded coves and cliff paths around Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. Other attractions include the famous twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, Exmoor, the North Devon coastal footpath, Arlington Court for the National Trusts’ Carriage Collection or the delights of a working sheep dog and falconry demonstration at Lee Cross ua mile away.

Whatever the weather there is always something to do at Trimstone. Guests are welcome to use the games room, tennis court, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, walk in the grounds or simply relax in a quite spot with a drink and a good book. Guests staying in the cottages are most welcome to use the Hotel Bar and Restaurant and enjoy special terms for breakfast and evening meals.

For energy efficiency (both for cost and environmental reasons), please note that the Swimming Pool will be closed after October Half-Term until the week before Easter 2012 during our low season.

However, if larger accommodation bookings for guests staying in either our Hotel or self-catering units during this period specifically request these facilities to be made available during their stay, we shall be pleased to consider this upon request.
