Activities to enjoy for all the family
Fishing
You would be hard pushed to find a better location for a huge variety of activities and sports. There is an excellent selection of sea fishing to be had utilising the local trips in groups and other organized days out. Course and fly fishing in abundance on the many rivers and lakes over Exmoor.
Walking and Biking
For the walkers and bikers Exmoor offers a number of challenges. For the hard core mountain biker there is Combe Sydenham Country Park to challenge yourself with it's descent of 800 feet; home of England's only Downhill Mountain Biking National Course. Other tracks are available for all other skill levels as well.
Walkers can enjoy peaceful strides over the moor and along the coast paths. With over 600 miles of rights of way, you are spoilt for choice; coastal paths, walks across wild open moorland, strolls along hidden valley bottoms, alongside burbling streams and rushing rivers.
