Rather than having to type in two longs words that were hard to read on all the contact and signup forms throughout the site, we now have a simple 4 character captcha that is far easier to read and simpler to type in.

We try and listen to not only our exmoor property owners but our visitors as well, and this was obviously an issue for some people, so we thought it would be more beneficial all round to just change the captcha type to a simpler one.

Form spam is always a problem, and the old Exmoor Park website suffered from not having any antispam system on the contact or signup forms, and we hope that this new simplified captcha system will please visitors to the site and our owners as well.

Currently we are running adverts for exmoor hotels and exmoor b&bs on one advert and exmoor self catering cottages, exmoor farm stays, exmoor country houses and pet friendly exmoor accommodation on another.

We will have other ads running during this period for exmoor pubs and inns as well.

If you’re an accommodation owner, make sure you have claimed your listing to get full benefit from this advertising in January and February as well as later in the year.

We have an array of new features to help both visitor and owner alike.

Visitors can now compare different properties as they browse through the site.

There is also a handy ” Recently Viewed Pages ” section at the bottom of the left side menu to help visitors track the last 10 properties or pages they have viewed. It’s very handy to remind visitors of the Exmoor bed and breakfasts, Exmoor hotels or the Exmoor self catering cottages  they’ve previously looked at whilst browsing the site.

We also have a new exmoor events listing page with a variety of current and upcoming events supplied by Everything Exmoor

Our Google Adwords campaign started today and we will be running the initial campaign till the end of February.

All our exmoor featured accommodation listings have been taken now and only standard listings are left.
